Since the mid-1970's Idlewild has been listed as a National Historic Register Community, and is also a National Enterprise Community.Under the leadership of Yates Township and our State of Michigan partners, efforts are taking place to revitalize our community, grow cultural/heritage tourism, create related economic growth and improve the quality of life.
